Magic with Mick Napier

It's 2am. Just got back from Annoyance Theatre. We saw a couple shows, mainly because TJ was in them. Then some of the crew and I hung out at the bar at Annoyance for several hours. TJ came over for a brief time to say hey, which was awesome.

Finally, Mick Napier came over to let us ogle him. (He was very friendly and jocular.) Always with a deck of cards in hand, it took little urging to get him to do some tricks for us. He dazzled us - with surprising humility - for an hour or so.

The photos are fuzzy because I had to take them quickly and on the sly. Didn't want to seem like such a big, fucking geek.

He got quite a kick out of the Finnish girl, Senja, and after a while did that quick assessment thing he's so famous for by telling her how she does improv based on his character assessment of her. (Yes, I was jealous.)

But still, yeah, I was hanging out at Annoyance doing magic with Mick Napier.

Oh, and he agreed to do an interview with me.
